When you’re in a spelling bee and you miss a word, you never forget the word you missed and the proper spelling of it. Ever.
8th grade. Mousse. They gave me the wrong form of the word, it’s not my fault.My word in 5th grade was “artichoke.”
3rd grade. Oratory.
5th grade. Buoyant. (I went to statewide the next year though… embarrassed.)
6th grade. Spaghetti x_x
7th grade. Broccoli. T_T

lol shut up i went to the national spelling bee twice but didn’t try and got out in the first (second) round so i could just chill but yeah i had never heard of the word anyway4th Grade: genius. how could i get that wrong? haha.
4th Grade: Weird. haha apparently the “i before e except after c” rule does not apply here. who would have thought.
